Ultimate freedom is when you’re in control

Take control of your business and personal communications with this chic and innovative dual-front 3G phone, and enjoy the taste of real freedom.

Smaller than most any smartphone and not much larger than your average GSM handset, the Three (Hutchison 3G) exclusive Sony Ericsson K608i makes its entrance as one of the first 3G handsets capable of sitting unnoticed in one’s pocket. Sindre Lia takes the K608i for a ride, truly excited about its mission to provide 3G to the masses.

Connectivity is excellent, with a choice of Bluetooth, USB and infrared for data transfer. The K608i supports email messaging, and also offers multitasking, an excellent phonebook, a built-in speakerphone and voice commands. The memory is reasonable at 33 Mbytes (enough for most users, but inadequate if your hoping for a phone to replace your MP3 player!). As 3G phones go, the battery life of the K608i is excellent. Apart from the fiddly keypad and the lack of a memory card, the other problems with the K608i are poor audio quality and quiet ringtones. It’s an OK phone, but not the best 3G phone around.

The phone comes complete with a clear 262k colour screen which provides a beautiful 176 x 220 pixel screen resolution. The phone comes with a useable 1.3 megapixel camera feature which can be operated very quickly with one press of the camera button. The camera comes with a digital zoom & built in photo light to ensure the clearest & brightest shot is captured. The user can edit & enhance their photos with the use of the picture editor & effects features. The Sony Ericsson K608i comes complete with a video recorder with a video clip & video streaming feature. The user can enjoy watching real time video on their K608i with the help of the built in 3G technology which make everything to quick & fast. The user can watch sporting events & news clips in real time as it happens in life. The VideoDJ™ feature allows the user to create a unique video sequences which can be made up out of different video clips that have been fitted together to create a smooth sequence including sound. The video call feature allows the user to take part in a face to face communication which brings a personal & real feel to a call.
