Designed for music, made for life

The W350i gives you instant access to your music. Keep your phone closed and simply use the keys on the flip to browse songs, play and skip to the next track.

You’re at the bar, and a song plays that you used to love… but you just can’t place it! Sounds familiar? We’ve all experienced this, and thanks to TrackID TM, it need never happen again. Just record a few seconds of the song into the phone’s microphone (or tag it from the built-in radio) and use TrackIDTM to identify it. The phone provides you with the name of the song, the artist, and even the album so that you can download it and enjoy it again and again. You don’t need to hold the phone in your hand to get the best out of the W350. With the Bluetooth Headset HBH-DS205, you can stream the music on your phone wirelessly to your ears! Your phone can be in your bag and you can still listen to the music, see which song is playing and take calls.

The triband GSM 850/1800/1900 MHz come in the US and The W350a series come on China and other varian called W350c and W350i. The color of SOny Ericsson come with electric black (black/orange), hypnotic black (black/purple), ice blue and graphic white. Sony Ericsson say that the W350i / W350a / W350c should be available from Q2 2008, but did not give any guidance on price.

The W350i supports a mobile email service, MMS multimedia messaging service & a SMS text messaging service complete with long SMS facility. The user can create, send & receive emails on their mobile phone. A message doesn’t need to be dull as the user can share messages containing a picture with sound & text which can be shared between any MMS multimedia messaging service compatible contacts. The SMS text message service on the Sony Ericsson W350i comes with a long SMS facility which allows the user to send & receive long text messages.

A Walkman® phone for everyone

Bring your music. With the W200i Walkman® phone, you always have one-press instant access to your favourite tracks.

Everything you need for a full Walkman® experience: included in the phone box you’ll find software for copying music from CD to phone, a 128MB memory card and a stereo handsfree.Write emails, browse the Web - and do it to the sound of your music. Just keep your Walkman® player or FM Radio tuned in and turned on.

As a music phone, we can see why Sony’s so keen to pitch the W200i as a compliment to an existing MP3 player, rather than a replacement. It’s a capable enough unit, but the interface is relatively basic, and the single speaker is tinny and entirely uninspiring. Switching to the supplied headphones did improve audio quality markedly. You’re rather stuck with the cabled headphone model, however, as the W200i lacks Bluetooth compatibility, and thus support for A2DP stereo headphones, and the proprietary port means you’re stuck only with audio accessories supplied or sold by Sony Ericsson.

The W200i includes a digital VGA camera with 4x digital zoom, but naturally, the quality of VGA cameras means it’s barely good enough for a few happy snaps. A more notable feature is push email, which is a welcome surprise on a handset with such a low RRP. In addition to push email, the W200i supports standard SMS and MMS messaging with T9 predictive text input. Other features include a loud and clear hands-free speakerphone, sound recorder and a host of personal information manager (PIM) features including an alarm clock, calculator, calendar, notes, stopwatch and a timer.

In-phone imaging - just snap and view

The K630i mobile phone gives you easy access to whatever makes your eardrums tingle. Download and listen to your choice of music - wherever, whenever.

The phone comes with a two Inch colour screen which provides up to two hundred & sixty two colours on a beautiful TFT screen. The keypad comes with small but well spaced keys which are separate & slightly raised from the handset for ease of use. The phone comes with a small navigation tool which is situation below the screen & comes with a metal finish which works as a dedicated music key. The user can take snaps when they are on the move with the built in 2 megapixel camera. The camera comes complete with a 2.5 x digital zoom which allows the user to get that little closer to their subject. The two Inch colour screen works as a viewfinder for the camera feature & the phone comes with video capabilities. The user can record, playback, stream & blog their video footage.

The Sony Ericsson K630i features an in-built Media Browser, meaning that there is just one location on the phone’s menu to launch the music player, video player or photo gallery, and so access all of your in-phone content. The Sony Ericsson K630i comes complete with new Media Manager software in-box to let you easily move your favourite music, photos, videos and more between your PC and your phone. Music tracks or video clips will be automatically converted into phone-friendly formats and creating playlists or adding album artwork to your tracks is simple.

The K630i is neither a Cyber-shot nor a Walkman and doesn’t pretend to be either. Instead, it is positioned as an all-rounder with HSDPA connectivity as its main draw. On digital imaging, there’s a main 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera on the back and a front-facing CIF camera for 3G video calls.
